Gilles Serbource is a BHSI accredited coach and event rider who has been working with riders and horses for over 40 years. He has a yard in Bratton Seymour, Somerset, BA9 from where he based, coaching and competing his horses.

Gilles trained at Saumur in France, home of the Cadre Noir. He has ridden and coached across France and the UK and has been both owner and director of two major riding centres. Coaching is his passion. He is happy to coach all levels of rider, whether you are starting out or riding at international level.

If you are looking for a coach, he can coach from his yard but offers riding and training services in the South West of England. He is also happy travel around the UK to coach and run clinics.

Coaching

Gilles is a BHSI / IGEQ Level 3 International Coach. He competes on the international Eventing circuit and has been riding and teaching for over 40 years. He started career as a professional rider but moved to focus on coaching.

Livery

We have availability for a small number of livery services in Bratton Seymour. We have a friendly yard, maximum of 3 liveries, with 17 acres of grazing, a school, jumps, grass dressage arena and a cross country field.

We offer live-in, tailor-made courses from a yard near Bruton in Somerset. Working under Gilles Serbource, BHSI, you and your horse will come to our yard for an intensive training course to help take you to the next level.

About Us

GP Equestrian is run by Gilles (with a little help from his wife, Pip), hence the GP. Gilles is a professional Eventer and has been riding and teaching for over 40 years. He started career as a rider, competing in Show Jumping and Eventing.

Pip specalises in Business, Marketing and Event Management but has also ridden most of her life and loves to jump!

Together they ensure the very best services can be offered for you and your horse.
