We are based at The Beeches in Sutton Veny, Wilts with incredible facilities where your horse can be trained and cared for under the guidance of Gilles Serbource, a BHSI Accredited Coach with over 40 years of experience in riding, producing, and coaching horses at all levels. Gilles competes on the international eventing circuit and has built his career as a professional rider across both eventing and show jumping, alongside a long-standing reputation for high-quality coaching.

Between 1992 and 1994, Gilles trained and rode at the prestigious Cadre Noir at Saumur, one of the most respected equestrian institutions in the world. He holds an International IGEQ Level 3 qualification and BHSI Level accreditation, enabling him to train instructors up to BHSI level, as well as coach across a wide range of disciplines, including carriage driving. Gilles is also a British Showjumping Level 2 Course Builder, bringing an expert eye for course design and technical training into his coaching and horse production.

His experience spans breaking and producing horses for all disciplines, with many going on to compete successfully at the highest levels. Before relocating to the UK eight years ago, Gilles owned and managed two large equestrian centres in France, where he developed riders from complete beginners through to competitive teams in show jumping and eventing. He is also qualified to coach disabled riders, reflecting his inclusive and adaptable approach to teaching. Every horse at The Beeches benefits from a structured, individual training plan designed by Gilles and delivered with consistency and care by the team.

Supporting Gilles is a highly experienced team. Fi Barnett brings a wealth of practical knowledge from her background on the international show jumping circuit and in equine veterinary practice, playing a key role in horse care and rehabilitation. Pip Watkins, Business Manager at GP Equestrian, manages all enquiries and day-to-day operations, ensuring a professional and seamless experience for every client.
